Balloon park isn’t that bad of a stage. Sure the elephant park is annoying but other than that it’s pretty creative and smooth to race on.

Im not a big fan of this version, but im fine with it.

It would be really hard when i try to speedrun this level as Sonic, so i do it using Tails or Knuckles.

V2.2 made it so well.

Seriously, Chemical facility is such a difficulty spike. CPUs bonk you offstage once, go 8th, you get "good items" but the speedup makes you fall offstage more frequently.

Good races! Mega Sandopolis Zone looks like it has almost the exact same track layout to Ghost Valley 2 in Super Mario Kart.

Good races! How in the heck do you reach that Spray Can in Mega Lava Reef? I'm guessing there is some shortcut that can launch you high enough to grab it? Poor Ecco is probably like, "I should have stayed in the ocean!" after getting through all these races! 😅

What happens when you play end of time as silver?

Hyper Franklin is honestly one of my favorite fights, this one and the last two fights in this route really are creative it feels like a lot of other bosses were on timers or something to make it end quicker but you Legitimately have to put damage hyper Franklin and the guardians it’s really nice and the last fight is just nice and makes sure it’s not just a attack fest

Dear lord. While I ended up having more trouble with The Fly than this fight, at least I understood conceptually how it was possible to beat The Fly hitless. This fight, on the other hand, felt so intense and brutal. Maybe my favorite fight of the route, bravo on pulling it off.

wow, the 2.2 version of the boss is WAY better than this. keeps a much further distance from you while scattering acid orbs, and you make him vulnerable by leading his new charge attack into hitting the orbs instead of awkwardly shimmying him into them.

I can’t jump higher in the up moving platforms in this version.

People are crapping on this tutorial too much. It doesn't play exactly like it's predecessor, so you kinda need to go through a tutorial before tearing up the tracks.

This game is much harder than i thought it would be

As cool as this fight is, I think it's a bit much to throw at a player all at once, especially if they haven't played _Earthbound._ I still have no idea how I managed to win myself.

Learning the strategy for the ending of Rooftops turned it from one of the hardest special stages to... well, I wouldn't say easiest, but I did beat it first try upon replaying the cup and got an S Rank.

i'm pretty sure this is currently the only footage of encore mode that exists on yt which makes this even funnier lol

Man, how far people have gone since the days of the Final Demo.

Man i just recently played this again and I hated it as much as I did when I played it on the PS1. The game is filled with cheap tricks, traps, and over all a false sense of secureness. This episode was a nightmare i honestly don't know how I manage to beat it as a child on the ps1. Map design is thee worse. Frack this game.
